Lanzhou Jiaotong University (formerly Lanzhou Railway Institute) was founded in May 1958. The campus covers an area of 1565 acres, with a total building area of 810300 square meters, a total fixed asset value of 1.601 billion yuan, and a total teaching and research laboratory equipment value of 317 million yuan. The university currently enrolls 61 undergraduate majors and has over 22000 undergraduate students. It is one of the first universities in China to have the authority to confer master's degrees and became a doctoral degree granting unit in 2003.

In early September, Greelan Technology Development Co., Ltd.
